Causes of pain in cluster headache is the result of dilatation (widening) of blood vessels that supply blood to the brain and face. dilation of blood vessels is making pressure on the trigeminal nerve, which transmit sensations from the face to brain. Unfortunately, it is still not happens blood vessel dilation.

the researchers believe that abnormalities in the small are of the brain called the hypothalamus may be responsible for causing this cluster headaches. The hypothalamus is the part of the brain that regulates body temperature, blood pressure, sleep cycle and the release of hormones.

Other causes of cluster headache is sudden release of the chemical histamine or serotonin, which respectively protect against allergens and set the mood.

So...By knowing the cause of the headache it will be easier to address and prevent it. Hope it is useful.
